config.txt mods:

  1. If previous builds worked on you tv but not on this build and if you see visual artifacts:
    change dtoverlay=vc4-fkms-v3d,cma-256 to
    dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3d,cma-256
  2.  change resolution using:
    framebuffer_width=1280
    framebuffer_height=720
    recommended resolutions: 1920×1080 1280×720 800×480 640×480
  3. config for RCA: remove all the line with hdmi in them.

  1. Hi. I have question. I have raspberry pi 3 b with 4,3 inch screen waveshare. I can install android in my Pi witch my touch screen. What shoul I do?

  2. At the 21 second mark you talk about using a “fake …….. something” What fake thing are you using to get more compatible displays to work? (specifically over composite) I didn’t understand it.

    While I originally wanted Android TV on a Pi 3 I now have used and think my needs are better met with RetroPie and Kodi. But for the life of me have not gotten video to work over composite and your build DID IT!!!! So first and foremost THANK YOU!!

    I installed to run the kodi, but it is not outputting sound via HDMI and the image is small my tv is 16: 9 1920×1080 I get full screen?
